Refund & Cancellation Policy

We want you to be happy with Didactora. This policy explains how to cancel, how automatic renewal works, and when you can get a refund. If anything about your billing looks wrong, please contact us first at support@didactora.com. We can almost always sort it out quickly, and usually faster than a bank dispute.
1. How to cancel
You can cancel your subscription at any time, yourself, from Settings > Billing in the app. Cancelling takes only a couple of clicks. There is no phone call, no retention maze, and no need to email us to be let out.
When you cancel, your plan stays active until the end of the current billing period and does not renew again. Your projects always remain exportable, so you can take your work with you.
We keep the cancel path at least as simple as signing up. You will not find countdown timers, hidden buttons, or guilt-tripping here.
2. Automatic renewal and reminders
Paid plans renew automatically at the end of each billing period, monthly or annually, whichever you chose, until you cancel. This keeps your access uninterrupted.
Before an annual plan renews, we send you a reminder email so the charge is never a surprise. You can cancel before the renewal date to avoid the next charge.
3. Refunds on annual plans
If you purchase an annual plan and change your mind, you can request a full refund within 14 days of that purchase, no questions asked. Just contact us at support@didactora.com within 14 days and we will refund your annual payment.
After the 14-day window, annual plans are non-refundable for the remainder of the term, but you can cancel at any time to prevent the next annual renewal.
4. Refunds on monthly plans
Monthly plans are billed month to month. If you cancel, you keep access until the end of the current month and are not charged again.
We refund monthly charges that result from a genuine billing error, for example a duplicate charge, a charge after a timely cancellation, or an accidental renewal you contact us about promptly. Reach out at support@didactora.com and we will make it right.
5. AI credit packs
AI credit packs are consumable add-ons. An unused credit pack can be refunded within 14 days of purchase if none of its credits have been used. Once credits from a pack have been used, that pack is non-refundable, because the underlying AI usage has already been delivered.
Monthly AI allowances included with a plan are part of that plan and are not separately refundable.
6. Billing errors
If you ever see a charge you do not recognize or believe is incorrect, contact us first at support@didactora.com. We will investigate and, where a charge was made in error, refund it. Contacting us is usually the fastest way to resolve a billing problem.
7. Payments and Merchant of Record
Our payments are sold and processed by Paddle.com, which acts as the Merchant of Record for your purchase. Paddle handles payment, invoicing, applicable taxes, and refunds on our behalf.
Because Paddle is the seller of record, charges appear on your card or bank statement as PADDLE.NET* or a similar Paddle descriptor, rather than as Didactora. Refunds are issued back to your original payment method through Paddle.
8. How to request a refund
To request a refund, email support@didactora.com from the address on your account, and include your Paddle receipt or order number if you have it. We aim to respond within a few business days.
If you received a payment receipt from Paddle, it also contains a link you can use to view your transaction.
9. Chargebacks
Please contact us before opening a chargeback or payment dispute with your bank. Most issues, such as duplicate charges, accidental renewals, or simple misunderstandings, we can resolve directly and more quickly than a formal dispute. If you have already been charged in error, we would much rather refund you than have you go through your bank.
